Fall Schedules
As I and other teachers put pieces in order for a fall schedule, please be communicating about what works for you when it comes to your fall schedule. I understand, it would be great if I simply copied this year's schedule and made it next year's, however, with a natural attrition of some leaving, and adding some in, the group looks different which is why that doesn't always work.
Some things to let me know
-what time is reasonable for you to be here after school?
-what days work, or do NOT work. Like, it is not possible to come to piano on Tuesday because of whatever.
-If you homeschool, what days do you have co-ops that eliminate the option of lessons that day.
Used Lesson Books
If you have piano books that you are not using or you no longer wish to have, rather than throwing them out, please let me know or bring them my way. I would like to have them for the times when you forget your books. It happens to most everyone and even with used copies, it's nice to have available copies here.
Siblings
If you are considering having a sibling join the Forte ranks, now is the time to let us know. Some of you already have. Since schedules are being filled now, please don't wait to mention a brother or sister that you'd like to get in.
Pre-Payments for Fall
Many of you already paid to keep your spot for the fall. If you haven't, the $50 invoices will be coming out next week. Please remember, this is not an extra payment but rather a payment ahead of time that verifies you'll be returning for lessons in the fall.
Mini Musicians
If you have or know 4-year-old child who might be interested in participating in Mini Musicians, please send them my way. Classes for the 4s are Thursday
mornings at 10:45-11:45 and for the 5's 3:45-4:45 on a Wednesday afternoon.
